Postage Increase.

This photo was taken by me on April 11, 2020 when the covid crisis was relatively new for us all. My wife had a bet with a friend who said gas would get to less than $1.50, she said no way. She lost! This was less than 2 years ago. My have we have been screw!!

Yeah, we never got that here in California. Lowest I saw was in the $2.50 range in the Bay Area.

The most economical way to ship 13 oz or less is first class mail, which would definitely apply to triggers. Perhaps that’s an option that’s workable, at least for some customers.

Saw this about a month ago at a local gas station I couldn’t help but take a pic and laugh!
A colleague gave me two dozen of these stickers. I have given all but three out, and every man and woman who received one was laughing and grateful to have one, to put on the mass stupidity they see.

the increase in costs..inflation…could very well be traced to the source of these increases…fuel. Everything we consume is related to the cost of fuel One way or another. Cheap fuel results in lower prices due to production and transportation costs, thus normal inflation runs in the 2per cent area. Every cost increase is “marked up” and passed on to the next level. Thus a 2% increase is passed on and the next vendor passes it on at 4% and so on until it reaches the final consumer. Very few pass on price increases at the same level as received. This 2% increase becomes a 10 % increase…the pricing of Nosler bullets have almost doubled in the last year…copper and lead increases less than 30 %. Econ 101..too many $$chasing to few goods…plus pricing that anticipates future cost of goods to be sold reflect those future increases to alleviate the constant readjustment upward of those goods to be sold. Increasing profit margins now help absorb future price increases so that price increases are yearly and not monthly, except in perishable commodities that can and will fluctuate daily. We are all in this boat together….any blame to be had, just look to Washington DC. This inflationary environment raised its Ugly head on January 20 and has never looked back…Keystone XL cancellation gave birth to this economy on day 1 and snowballed down hill from there. True we are producing more oil than during 2020, but demand has exponentially increased over 2020 worldwide that due to shutdown of drilling’s the amount required at 2020 pricing can not be produced in North America to meet worldwide usage demand. When we need to import we are removing that volume from other countries needs, when earlier we were self sufficient in our supply to meet our demands, and that oil we now import is replacing the previous oil produced in NA.

Inflation is a tax on the middle/working class, the rich get richer....
Seems we had a disagreement with England about this very subject in the late 1700's.
How you doing Brent? Haven't heard anything from you in a while. Haven't seen any of those fabulous paint jobs.

Morning Chuck, its fixin to get real busy around here. Just got off the phone with Zack.
I've got a couple new techniques I'm working on that should turn things up a lil bit on the wow factor.
@LarryDScott I've switched to UPS for most of my shipping.
I can ship a stock across country faster and cheaper including a couple thousand in insurance than I can with USPS.

Thanks for the info, but I'm not going to sacrifice my company image by using first class
I offer the best delivered price and the fastest delivery on a Jewell Trigger of anyone in the business.. I have built my reputation on these points and I intend to stick w/that. I like the ata boys when someone posts how fast their trigger arrived. Most customers want something delivered YESTERDAY, even though they waited until today to order. I try my best to do my part, because I WANT TO BE YOUR JEWELL TRIGGER DEALER. LDS

I get it and understand me and my local postal lady had a discussion about this the other day she was complaining about the price hike on something I was shipping out and I just looked at her and said hell I can’t drive it there for that. I feel like it’s a decent deal.

Facts are facts I experienced it again today when I filled up. Edit the second time... now I know the angry emoji was not thrown at me, I can sleep better now!
I wish I could figure out how to put an emoji in with my messages maybe somebody can direct me?

That reminds of an expression I heard a lot in the Marine Corps, "You know you're in combat when you're out of everything but the enemy!"

Hang in there Larry!
And there's another expression from back there with the corps upon finishing boot camp...
"You have just begun to scratch the surface ! " :(

Perhaps there is good reason for the rate increase. They have to recover the costs of their absolute total ineptness. Saturday I mailed soil samples in a small priority box destined for Penn State Ag lab- 125 miles from my house. It went to the regional distribution center in Phila. By Sunday eve it was in LOS ANGELES, Monday am it was in Long Beach, Ca. then back to LA by Tues. eve. On Wed. am it departed and is "in transit to the destination"......... apparently not "MY" destination but whichever bin the handler chooses to toss the parcel into just to "process" the shipment. So, 6 days and 2500 miles later my parcel is 2400 miles away from the PSU Lab. Not my first rodeo with these clowns, as i have posted numerous problems on this site.. Our best days have long since left us. It might have a chance if it does not get a ride on LA's rail system.

liberial's way of creating jobs as my union loving dad would say.

try getting a Pa "real Id" or a "keystone Id" if you really want to lose some hair on the top of your head!!!!
and you would think getting a Pa keystone id (, after all we are the keystone state, ) it would qualify for a real id , but , lol, hell no!

after the 3rd trip to DOT driver lic ctr for real id ,all we have to do now is call one more county court house for this paper and then another state dept of vital records for that paper...

and all i had to so for keystone id is scan all the same papers, have a video conference with a security agent in my hands have said paperwork and then do a facial scan!!!! no shit!
i asked what is next blood for DNA?

im voting republican across the ballot for the rest of my life!

I long for the good old days when I could order 1000 .45 200 grain lubed cast bullets and the seller would ship them to me in a flat rate box.

Please stop posting pictures of Blinken. They nauseate me.
