There seems to be no way to stay ahead of price increases. Competition is everywhere
When I first used Priority small boxes they were $1.35. I was selling the JT01Top safety
w/Bolt release for 200.00 delivered. Now I sell that same trigger for $210.00 and shipping
just went to $9.45, card processing is up, internet hosting is up. Everything is up except my profit,
while sales numbers have hit the bottom. For many yrs early in business, I never missed a day
mailing a package, now in todays market I go many days w/o an order. I guess thats just business !!!

That reminds of an expression I heard a lot in the Marine Corps, "You know you're in combat when you're out of everything but the enemy!"

Hang in there Larry!

Saw this about a month ago at a local gas station I couldn’t help but take a pic and laugh!CDD6DB3B-23CB-47B6-8399-970FAB326285.jpeg edit, not sure why I got the angry face emoji but so be it. Facts are facts I experienced it again today when I filled up. Edit the second time... now I know the angry emoji was not thrown at me, I can sleep better now!
I wish I could figure out how to put an emoji in with my messages maybe somebody can direct me?

Inflation is a tax on the middle/working class, the rich get richer....
Seems we had a disagreement with England about this very subject in the late 1700's.

I feel your pain Larry. The cost of the stainless sheet metal I use to manufacture my annealing machine has gone up thirty percent in the last two years! It is a daily battle anymore to try and keep some balance and be as fair as possible to everyone. It also troubles me greatly that it is getting near impossible to be able to source everything I need in my own country. Either no one here makes it or if they do it's way to pricey to be considered. Offering a quality product made entirely from materials or component parts produced in our own country at a fair and reasonable price these days is becoming very difficult. Sorry I got a bit off track here but it really pisses me off.

This photo was taken by me on April 11, 2020 when the covid crisis was relatively new for us all. My wife had a bet with a friend who said gas would get to less than $1.50, she said no way. She lost! This was less than 2 years ago. My have we have been screw!!

Unless something is heavy, the flat rate priority is NOT the best deal at the post office.

Package the same item in the same size of box and still send postal priority. This will save you a couple of bucks per package.

ASK for the extra priority stickers on the box and use the postal priority mailing labels provided by the post office.

Just thought about this, seemed odd I was paying a month ago 9.45 for the small flat rate and all others were high for several months, I shipped a week ago 10 boxes and the rate had gone down to the previous rate, Maybe they are trying out the WalMart pricing roll up and then roll back, Kind of like Amazon and Midway do, If you leave something in your cart to long they offer you a deal if you don't respond the next time the price went even higher.

Larry look at regional rate boxes,

I tried to find the regional rate box, but couldn't do so on the postal site.
That favor they did us by decreasing the small box price, didn't last long. It went
back up. Evidently thats the most used size. LDS
