If your 22-250 shoots good with a milder load then there is nothing wrong with that. You might even get longer life out of the barrel.

22cal 55gr bullet at 3,350 fps is plenty for varminting out to 500 yards. 100 fps difference at the muzzle doesn't translate to very much drop and drift at 500 yards.
In your case the difference is around 1.3" drift (in a 10mph 3 or 9 o'clock wind) and 3.4" drop.

OK guys, I'm not ignoring anyone, just taking some time on other rifles right now until I can get out to the 600 or even 200 yard ranges. I'll post what I find out.

I never could tell much from primers. Some flatten easier like Federals. Having a crater/ridge (1) around them is a definite pressure sign.
