For the money they are a decent frame to work off of. I would definitely upgrade the top especially if your looking for accuracy while working up loads. The molded plastic for a top is just that...molded plastic. Just like a cheap folding table. They have they're uses but staying steady isn't it. Plywood or butcher block top or something of the sorts and you'll be hard pressed to not make the local FB page daily!
If you do upgrade the top make sure to round the edges with a router, your elbows will thank you. Good case of sealant as well will help protect it from the elements if left outside .
