POLYGONAL RIFLING?

ANYBODY HAVE ANY THOUGHTS ON POLYGONAL RIFLING? AND IF SO, ANY LOAD INFO?

I use a 26 inch, magnum sporter countoured (0.650" muzzle dia.) Pac-Nor barrel in my Tikka 595 in .260 Remington. The rifle achieves 1.5 inch groups at 300 meters all day long with tuned loads. Only peculiarity I found with this barrel is that it won't shoot well with light loads. It clearly prefers loads that are at or near maximum pressure. The barrel also collects a little more copper than my other barrels, but nothing to really complain about. One Coues white-tail deer taken with it, so far.

Not related to your rifle bullet, combo but if anyone has a poly bbl DONT TRY CAST BULLETS, THE BBL WILL LOAD UP ON LEAD IN A FEW ROUNDS AND CREAT ALOT OF PRESSURE.

this is especially true with Glocks and HK's - very dangerous
