I was gonna make the title micro die adjuster vs shims, but I figured no comparison. So I will just ask how people like it and is there any comparable items on the market?

Really like mine, I started with one and now have them on all my dies..Very well made, user friendly and precise. You won’t regret purchasing.. I’ve not tried anything else to compare them to sorry.

I did not think about it, but I do wonder how they compare top the Redding competition shell holders? Kinda the same? Not really?

+ 1 for the Whidden mirco adj Die. All the Whidden dies are very good . This micro adjusting design is quite remarkable.

I have both the Whidden adjustable die and the PMA device. Once I got the Whidden die the PMA thing sits in the drawer. The die is waaaaaaay easier.

I've tried both and sold the PMA. Not saying it was bad, I just preferred the Whidden. YMMV

I also have both PMA and Whidden. Both do the job. I prefer the design that Whidden utilized and have continued to purchase many more.

Are the increments of the Whidden .001” in or out only or can you move it .0005” or less if needed?

I have 5 of the PMA adjusters and have had good results. That said, there is one downside of PMA vs Whidden. You have to back out the PMA each time you make fine adjustments, then retorque to press, so torque must be consistent to get fine adjustment.

I don't have a Whidden click die yet, but assume you would not need to back die out, to make adjustments, just click up or down.

I believe you do have to back the Whidden out also. At least that is the process I use.
