Really like mine, I started with one and now have them on all my dies..Very well made, user friendly and precise. You won’t regret purchasing.. I’ve not tried anything else to compare them to sorry.I was gonna make the title micro die adjuster vs shims, but I figured no comparison. So I will just ask how people like it and is there any comparable items on the market?

I believe you do have to back the Whidden out also. At least that is the process I use.I have 5 of the PMA adjusters and have had good results. That said, there is one downside of PMA vs Whidden. You have to back out the PMA each time you make fine adjustments, then retorque to press, so torque must be consistent to get fine adjustment.
I don't have a Whidden click die yet, but assume you would not need to back die out, to make adjustments, just click up or down.
