I’ve used them, they work pretty well. They also come up on the marketplace forum now and then.

No. I think that is the point of this thread. There is a ""PRO" model for sale with a description and no picture.

There are two options now Jim. I have a couple of the originals and like them. There is no picture of the new Pro model on the website. That's why I came here.

Pat sent me a picture. Was holding out hope he’d just send me the new die adjuster and I could take the picture myself. If you wish in one hand and poop in the other which one fills up first?

I'd like to try one, but I think I'm too cheap to drop $80-100 on one.

I currently use the Forster lock rings with etched marks for .001" of change. You just loosen the screw, move it, and tighten it.

Talking with Pat here at tack driver and I checked out the pro model. The difference is it pinches the threads rather than using a set screw so it should not cock the die. Compare a die ring from redding to one from hornany to get the idea. You could use an o ring under you current one to get some float too. I like his new sizing press which has a feature that lets the adjust float as well.

We will not be offering the split ring base separately. The thimbles are a different thickness and the range of adjustment would be restricted if using the split ring base with standard thimble, putting the die adjuster higher on the die than most presses will support (running out of threads on the die). Also, using the pro model base with a standard thimble negates the other benefit of the pro model which are the 3 attachment screws instead of one. This feature allows the user to make the die perfectly in line with the ram. The split ring keeps it perfect. We really see a benefit for use in bullet making.

We've been slacking on new photos since acquiring Benchrite earlier this year, but we're about to get that addressed.
