Pliers for Holding Cartridge Cases

They look like pliers, but hold the cases while you are doing prep and are designed to reduce the strain on your hands/wrists. I am starting to get RSI, so am not looking forward to prepping a load of cases and was thinking about sourcing some

Don't think I've ever seen what you describe. Would the driver work?

I too have a lot of cases to prep and problems with my hands and wrists.

I am currently using a leather sheath lined with bicycle inner tube to absorb vibrations. I still get numbness in my hand after a while and it takes days for the feeling to return. Hoping someone points you to the solution you seek and will be watching this thread.

I already have a 21st Century one of these. All my prep tools fit on a drill, so I need something to hold the cases when I offer them up

There was someone a while ago that did calibre specific ones. At the time, I didn't have rsi, so didn't bookmark the site. Hindsight is a wonderful thing

I use anti-slip gloves, requires less pressure to hold the case.

The non marring pliers that I purchased from Amazon will not keep round items from spinning, the plastic jaws are too slick. YMMV

Bought one of the RCBS holders on ebay. Looks like it should be easier on the hands than what I am currently using.

What about a modified set of sparkplug wire pliers?
They are made for you to be able to grab the boot where it goes over the sparkplug and are rubber dipped so as not to damage them.
Maybe flatten out the end some.

Are you talking about "cannon plug pliers"? These are used in the aviation world.

I used some pliers I modified (Originally used to release wire spring hose clamps.) by drilling a hole in the tips of the jaws, but since then I found these padded jaw pliers.

Got the RCBS holder yesterday and used it for the first time. It makes a big difference. My hand is very happy!
