Please Explain Donuts to me

This will be my next project. Last night I seated bullets in uncharged cases until I could not feel the doughnut. Then I chambered it and there are no marks on the bullet.

Next I will finish loading at that length and test fire.

Get an arbor Wilson seater and a mini arbor press and you can feel donuts.

I have customers that squish bullet noses and can never feel it in their cam over presses. That is why I encourage going to the arbor press. Talk to them all the time.

If they pay closer attention, they will fell it when seating a bullet into a donut.

Yes. In my humble opinion it's much easier with the little arm arbor press. I really think that going to the arbor press for seating can result in some next level groups.

The Wilson seaters are the only arbor press seating die that I have any experience with, and I agree with you 100%. Next level die for sure.
