PlastyDip a magazine spring?

I have a 308 purpose built for shooting subsonics with my suppressor attached. However one of the most annoying noises it makes right now is the magazine spring makes lots of noise. Rifle feeds from Accuracy International 10rnd magazines. Would it be possible to plasty dip the spring without negatively affecting reliability of the magazine? Any other options welcome.

One way to find out. I'm sure that it will come off if it doesn't work. I think that I would try a spray lube made by Wurth on the inside of the box & the spring itself. Product code is HHS-K. Wurth will sell to individuals and has hundreds of US locations. I buy it by the case for shop use but I use it on my bolt lugs etc as well. It is a high temp/high pressure spray grease that dries. Great lubricant & doesn't pick up dirt when it's dry. We use it on Stainless bolts so they don't gall as nuts go on (one use out of many). No I don't work for Wurth but they also make their own line of Lok-tite type products that I like better than the name brand stuff.
