RCBS sent me new tubes for free. I was only having trouble with one of the older tubes but they sent me a new set. You can't beat their customer service.

All my tubes are either brass (old) or aluminum. Won't buy the plastic.

I have old RCBS and the plastic went bad. Called them and they sent me new ones for free. Great customer service.

IMO the Dillon tube tips are great. I replaced all the tips on my Hornady tubes with the Dillon tips - they're much easier to load (no more cramped fingers from the high force needed to slip over the primer.)
