Pistol Reloading Advice

Worst I ever had to contend with was in smallbore pistol silhoette, where the clubs in our area used prairie dog silhouettes at 100 yards for shootoffs. This was with iron sights, in the days before scope sight classes - you saw this little black blur out there.

I remembered my pistol team coach (a retired Marine Corps gunny) when I shot intercollegiate pistol, and that's what saved me; "Don't worry that the target is a blur - It's not going anywhere." Somehow, gunnies always had a way of putting things into perspective.....

Center mass is center mass, even when center mass is blurred (except perhaps when mirage makes that silhouette target dance).
Remembering those days in the California central valley when the concrete on the shooting lane was so hot it'd burn your skin through your shirt and in prone at 60 yards the target kept moving like a big fat snake.

reminds me of Ft Stockton, tx, internationals championship shoot in August-- 114f at 8:00am just a little mirage, the rain showers you could see evaporate mid air.
