Pistol lubing

Had lots of lanolin and alcohol mix left just did them all

When Loading any straight wall case in a carbide die lube is not necessary however I’m not a volume loader usually only loading 50 to a few hundred at most at a time, since there’s 5 rows of ten in my loading blocks I hand lube with imperial the first case in each row, makes it a little smoother. Anyway to each there own I don’t believe it’s right or wrong to lube or not to lube with carbide dies.

I'm firmly in the lube camp. 200 brass is a plastic bag and a couple of sprays of lanolin/alcohol works wonders.

Any one here using the Mighty Armory 9mm no-carbide pistol sizing die?
It does a complete full length sizing. Trying to figure out in a 10 to 1 mix will work or ?

After some research, Mighty Amory suggest a mixture of 6 parts Alcohol to 1 part Water Soluble Peg 75 lanolin oil.
So where is the best place to buy some Peg 75?

That stuff is expensive. Looks like it runs $40-50/lb on Amazon (closer to $75/lb on ebay.) Granted you probably don't use a lot of it, but still...

The PEG75 stuff is water soluble; that could be why they recommend it.

Regular lanolin (about $30/lb on Amazon) is soluble in alcohol (which is what most lubes use anyway), so I'm not sure what the advantage of PEG75 is.
