Ditto. Lifes full of choices, and thats one of mine. I already left Commienecticut for that reason.

What a lot of older people should do 5 days a week 2 hours at the gym. I mostly walk everywhere I go and have really gotten into learning to cook Peruvian food, it's great. Some things I can't mention on here.
Pretty cool you just up and moved like you did. How did you settle on Peru?

Been here before, ships captain for 40 years traveled a lot. I'm into the Inca and Nasca Line stuff and ancient aliens.

Thinking the folks that have guns and live in California arn't having any issues like it's made out to be??
Don't "personally" know of anybody that lost any of their gun rights while living their lives and minding their own business.

Spent six months in Peru and Bolivian, mostly in the country. Speaking the lingo helped. Definitely some beautiful women down there but I was just motorcycling and enjoying seeing some of the ruins. There’s definitely some places I wouldn’t venture in, day or night but that’s mostly cities and well known. A dollar goes a long ways down. Being so close to ocean sounds like a lot of fun! Be safe Pirate and welcome back!
Not sure I would do it again. I kind of stay in the states as much as I can now days. We have our issues but we are still one of hell of a place to live! To each their own!
