picatinny base for panda action?

is there a way that a picatinny scope base system can be used with a panda action? eg, a slide-on rail? or would the action need to be drilled?

Give Kelbly's a call (330-683-4674) they make a slide-on Davidson to Picatinny rail for the Panda's. I just bought one with a 20 moa slant. It uses screws from the rail top to wedge/lock the ring in place. Adds about 3/8" to the height.

How long is it? Does it extend past the front of the action, or is it only 6" long like the rail on the action?

The rail is 7" long and if you wanted, based on the screw hole locations (3 each) you could have it extend up to 1.25" passed the front of the action.
