Most of my runs I could set up to get 2 wheels in front of the cutter and one behind. but I can totally understand why 2 might be better.

Sorry I missed that. My shaper is so old it was built probably 25 years before I was born and I am 70. A Walker Turner it has micro adjust on both sides of the fence. I kinda hope I never have to use it again, it has never had a power feeder, only feather boards.

Mine is an old Delta. No power feed, just an extremely careful feeder.
