Stumbled upon the wild mustang grave site in a remote corner of my world

Razor…an ole cowboy must’ve really loved This old horse to go to the extent to bury him

Younger generations of mustangs still frequent this same area

Pinyon Jays show up 2 or 3 times a day. This is one of 3 stations for them. We go thru a lot of bird seed with the drought and have to fill up the bird bath oftenIMG_0723.jpeg
 
This is Turkey Hill where the world record archery elk was taken. On the other side is Old Rt 66. On the other side of that is I-40 and next to that is Walnut Canyon National Monument. There is a game tunnel under I-40 to Walnut Canyon and that is the migratory game trail for the elk. They come through our yard. Thirty years ago none of those homes where there. The Rio De Flagg creek runs thru the middle of the homes. The land was part of a ranch. The story of the west!
