Photographers here -- What are you shooting at?

Yessir. My shots were air to air. Huge diff in airspeed of the birds made it interesting.

Got very lucky that day because no clouds and extremely bright, so I was able to use quite a fast shutter speed.
I was shooting with a Nikon D5500 and a Nikon AF 70-300mm f 4 - 5.6 lens.
Since the D5500 camera has a crop sensor (thus being a DX series) and the lens is AF series, it automatically turns the lens into a 105 - 450 mm.

Use a Canon 5d MkIII w/ 2.8 70-200 IS for almost everything except scapes. The full frame sensor allows me to crop later and still have decent detail.
We were in an RV-8, shooting though the canopy. Obtuse angles really wrecked the auto-focus.

Spotted these Maxx Tech brass while reloading 9mm's

Watch for 'em........weird huh ?

I had a client that did under water photography in Monterey as well. She told me that you dont need to go very deep for unusual beautiful creatures.
Very true. I have a small series of shots I took between dives, laying on my stomach on a dock and sticking the camera in the water. Neat critters in and on the growth there.
