Pets and ultrasonic cleaning

Is anyone else noticed how their pets act when they turn on ultrasonic cleaner?

My cats were climbing the walls!
I got an RCBS it only had 100 cases in it so they were vibrating pretty good.

My young male cat came in the cat door and immediately began to freak out and run around trying to figure out where the sound was coming from and then back out the cat door he went.
My older female just went to the edge of the room and ran around the wall to get past whatever was going on.

Strange how things we can't hear they can to a point of making them nervous.

I didn't think you were supposed to clean your pets in them.

Pets can hear ultrasound. Humans cannot. The sound can be irritating or even painful to your pets.

Cat Cleaning
1. Put both lids of the toilet up and add 1/8 cup of pet shampoo to the water in the bowl.

2. Pick up the cat and soothe him while you carry him towards the bathroom.

3. In one fluid movement, put the cat in the toilet and close both lids, you may need to stand on the lid. Be careful, those little dagger filled paws have more reach than you would realize

4. The cat will self agitate and make ample suds. Never mind the noises that come from the toilet, the cat is actually enjoying this.

5. Flush the toilet three or four times. This provides a "power-wash" and "rinse" for the cat.

6. Have someone open the front door of your home. Be sure that there are no people between the bathroom and the front door.

7. Stand behind the toilet as far as you can, and quickly lift both lids.

8. The cat will rocket out of the toilet, streak through the bathroom, and run outside where he will dry himself off.

9. Both the commode and the cat will be sparkling clean.

10. Now you can relax and put your feet up, your work here is done!
