Jackie great to hear from you! I'm in agreement with what you say. I think the 6PPC does better in UBR, but I don't like that bore wearing out in a couple of thousand rounds! Also that 30 cal. bullet seems to do much better in the wind. I'm having great success with some custom made bullets in the 30 cal. . I like your idea of making your own 68 grain 6mm's. Are they boat tails? Who made your dies? I've long liked the Detsch 7/9 ogive, boat tail, that Hottenstein makes. What's your take on it?I shoot NBRSA Varmint for Score. Quite a bit of it.
I try to keep the Rifle shooting at a .200 or better agg level.
If I was shooting UBR, I would probably shoot a 6PPC, since I am now making my own 68 grn 6mm bullets.
I talked to as many Score Shooters in the Gulf Coast Region as possible during the Winter, and nobody was interested in shooting the UBR Format.
