Peterson 6 Dasher Brass

You can say what you want about Peterson Brass, but you will be lowing if you say that they do not do an excellent job of packaging their brass-better than anyone else I have seen. Great start.

I have 100 Alpha cases with 3 firings and absolutely no issues! I will hardly ever buy anything other than Lapua for several calibers. At 8-10 firings we will see! With 105 Gungnir....very accurate!

Just got my Peterson 6 Dasher brass.
@Ccrider have you had time to do any measuring?
The necks on the few I sampled came in .0138 to .014 but a few other numbers are concerning.
I'd like to hear what your sample measures to the datum and diameter just below the shoulder/body junction.

Have not checked. Will measure tonight and give some numbers.

I pulled 5 random pieces to measure.
.454 below the shoulder body junction for all five measured. OAL 1.533 for 4, one 1-5325.
Neck thickness .014 for 4. One .0139-.0140. Shoulder blow length was within .001 for all 5. Turn, fire and should be good to go.

Loaded round wit VT 103 prior to turning neck .2710.

The Peterson fire forms clean. Looks like good shoulders formed. My Lapua load is 32.8gr Varget, the Peterson on initial firing does best at 32.2gr. I’ll load again on formed brass to see if it changes any. It may fall on the 32.4gr. I didn’t chrono any yet. I probably will tomorrow. I’m curious on where the speed is.
Peterson on left, fired vs virgin. Lapua on right

*I ordered 8lb of imr 4166 to preserve my stash of Varget for my next barrel. Load testing for that tomorrow too.

I would have tried a pound first, It's too bulky for the Dasher I found. More so than H4350.... jim
