Peterson 338LM Brass

I have a batch of 50 new Peterson 338 LM brass.

This batch of brass will not fit into the Dillon shell plate whereas an old batch does. As best as I can measure, the extractor diameter is about .513" which is about .005" bigger than the old batch.

Has anyone else this problem?

I tried to call Peterson but their mailboxes are full.

PS. Got a email from Peterson a few minutes ago explaining that their brass extractor groove is within spec.
A Dillon web page explains that Lapua has changed their extractor groove dimensions several times.

A major solution to loose primer pockets wound be eliminating that strength sapping groove altogether. Maybe a different brand shell holder will work.

I have a lot that measures 0.512". SAAMI spec maximum is 0.510". They do not fit in my RCBS shellholder or the plates of my RCBS Trim Pro Gen 1 but do fit in my Redding Competition Shellholders #35. For trimming I opened up the plates a bit.
