Pesky Ground Hog's NOW Bee's

As a kid, I remember Uncle taking out a ground wasp hole with gasoline. That made for a fun BBQ!

This is more boring, but looks effective...

Go all ninja on their asses with a badminton raquet.
LMAO! That brought back a memory of a worker I had chopping out vines in the fence at the shop.He got into a mess of bees and looked like an Apache brave with that hatchet trying to fight them off. When they got done with him I could swear I was looking at Rocky Balboa .

It will suck the oxygen right out of the hole.
oh I like it. Like out there blasting in the air with the AR. He's not crazy just shooting at some bees. Ok thanks guys.
I sent that from my phone and it changed a few words.

Don't light the gas. Bad idea. Been there and done that as a kid. Trapped fumes = big whoosh faster than you can exit.

yeah, I think that's a pretty bad idea too.

I was listening to the scanner yesterday and they were sending a crew to Mifflin county to assist a guy that "threw gasoline on a fire" WTF? yes, he had severe burns and a out of control fire.

Whatever you decide to do - hire the neighbor's kid and film from a safe place. Valuable lessons can be learned from foolin with ground bees. (I've heard)

Good luck.

The simple way to kill them all, without chemicals is a clear glass bowl. Place the bowl over the hole, at night when they are quiet. Cover the edge of the bowl with some soil, so they can't escape. Look for another hole. Sometimes they have an exit hole. They will all die in a few days of dehydration. The clear glass bowl lets the sun in and they don't panic trying to get out.

Talstar P kills everything and they won't be back. I sprayed my my back porch and flies won't even come around now. Sevin use to be my go-to but now I have a new love affair. Can't use it on your veggies though and is it's only downside. Please don't kill the honey bees as they are having a tough time of it as it is. Yellow jackets are nasty however nothing compares to bald faced hornets! When I get to heaven their creation will be one of my questions...

Well the back yard was invaded buy Ground Hogs. I shot four of them off with the Marlin 25N the last week maybe a few more but I have not seen them. So weed wacking I found a hole where I did not know a hole was Big 10" in dia and I cant see how deep but is full of Bee's. I could not even finish weed wacking and had to retreat..Dang them bee's are hard to hit with a rilfe...So what do I do?
What kind of bad As* Bee's are in the ground in a angry swarm? Hmm have lots of gun powder kind of dreaming up a paper towel wrapped up full of shotgun powder with a lighter fluid soaked string. throw it down the hole and light the string...Ah flash fry them. How do I get rid of that many Bee's.
Pour diesel fuel down the whole in the evening or night time. Soak the hole and area around it down real good. Give it a day or so then start to fill in the hole a little and soak it down again it needed. Ground bees are the worst but that is the best I've found. Coleman fuel or kerosene may work as well if no diesel. Good luck

Bald face or white face hornets usually nest in a paper nest in a tree. Often in a pine tree. One should never attach a coffee can of gas and paper towels to a broomstick, light same and then try to burn the nest out of the pretty twenty foot tall blue spruce in the front lawn. Seems the inside of such trees are dead and ignite like gas fumes. No question the nest goes away, but so does the tree....sudden like. Ask me how I know.

Yellow jackets? Pour a gallon of gas down the hole at night, cover with a rock or plate or whatever. Dead right there.

snert, sounds like you have experience with the hornets? As for the OP, I'm thinking 3-5gal gas, some way to pump it in the hole as vapor/liquid mix. then stand off at about 15yds with a big crackler roman candle. I feel like this should be done near dark to maximize the effect when one of those flaming balls hits home. Sure you could kill them slow and safe, but where's the fun in that?
