I dont know how many people on this site are aware of it but Paypal is Antigun BIG TIME. I signed up with another one Called GUNPAL which is Cheaper & can be used to pay any one on line. I hope you guys will check it out & see their fees are less than paypal & They like the shooting sports & the NRA. Their address is www.gunpal.net Paypal can & will lock down your account on certain gun related payments, I closed Mine & dont have to worry about what I'm paying for on line anymore.

We have featured GunPal in our Daily Bulletin.
There are many reasons why we still process site donations through Paypal. The first is that GunPal requires the user to submit confidential banking and account information. Paypal does not require that. You can either pre-fund an account or use a secured credit card. Second, GunPal has not yet provided a system that can be directly integrated into our site design. Third, in some tests we ran we were not impressed with Gunpal's transaction reporting.
That said, the OP's advice to stay away from PayPal for buying/selling of firearms and certain firearms components is correct.
But for donations, PayPal, for all its "political" faults, remains the fatest, most reliable, and most secure method of handling these transactions.
We hope to see GunPal evolve and we may switch in the future, but we are reluctant to use any system that requires contributors to provide confidential banking information. GunPal does have lesser fees for some transactions.
