Passing time..

I use a Forster with an adapter for a cordless drill. Been doing it that way for decades. Hate the job of trimming more than I do sizing!!!

I just did 300+ .223 but I switched over to the Lee case trimmer that screws into any case prep station.... I have to say that a less than $20 tool it worked great , I will definitely be buying another with the .223 stem for a backup.... I see a lot of people saying you can't control how much it trims but that's not true.... I have mine set to stay above minimum by .003....

If I were loading for super accurate ammo I would probably go back to the Forester trimmer of course but when your doing .223 for an AR it cuts your time and finger pain WAY down.... Especially since it's just another station in a case prep station.... Boom , you trim , clean primer pockets and cut the crimp out and chamfer debur the case necks in a few simple movements...... You can't beat doing super precision work if you have the time and for large caliber stuff that's exactly what I do..... But for flat out bulk I go the other way...

Last week, I put two bags of brass on my desk to get to. 1000 rounds each of surplus 223 and 308 I bought many years ago and found when looking for something else . They’re “machine gun brass” and will be a workout. I think I’ll use my WFT on them. Luckily, I have stocks to build first!
