Passing of Paul's father

Paul,

I also was touched to tears as I read your tribute to your Dad. He must have been some kind of a man.

I had wonderful parents and am very thankful for that. My Dad died almost 35 years ago, just when he and I had transitioned from parent and son to friends. My Dad was also an old soldier who served in North Africa. Dad was Jimmy Doolittle's first sergeant. Doolittle chased Rommel around Africa after his famous raid on Japan. Your article brought back memories of my Dad..... thanks for that.

Paul, very sorry for your loss. I know what its like to lose a parent and what helps me is memories. You may lose them physically, but with memories they are with you every day.

Paul,

Sad to hear of your father's passing. Will keep your family in our prayers. I have many great memories of my father who passed away last year. Thoese memories will have to do until we meet again.

Paul,
Sorry to hear the sad news of your father. He was obviously a talented man. The world needs all the talented and compassionate men it can get at the moment. Where will we be when all that generation are gone?

On the home page I saw how you honored your dad! what a great tribute to him, I hold my dad in the same way that you have described your dad to us. Sorry for your loss, but thank you for sharing with us. Ron Tilley
