A visitor passing through

I’m sure that they just wanted a little petting or a treat. Just majestic little dreamy fur balls.

I’ve seen where they come in and lay waste to every calf/lamb standing and might take a bite or two out of a few but just wholesale kill just to kill like the alpha top of the food chain predator they are. It’s not really a problem for me personally but if I were a rancher or hunter I’d be pretty upset. Like the grizzly deal, they ain’t afraid of humans, because the humans who make laws that protect them. But it’s whatever.

Indeed :)

I've long thought that those of us who live in rural areas have been bogarting the beauty of nature. Reintroduction of the top predators like wolves, cougars and griz to the urban habitat that was stolen from them would be a win/win. The great furry animals of the forest would have their land back and city folk could enjoy the beauty of nature from the comfort of their living rooms.

Yeah, but it seems like the city folks don't want to enjoy the beauty of nature, they want country folks to deal with nature while they feel good about themselves
