PALO ALTO MID-RANGE F-CLASS/PRONE MATCH RESULTS
NOVEMBER 1, 2014
The first match after the Championship saw 25 folks come out to shoot in conditions many of the shooters said was some of the hardest they had seen at Palo in a long time. Temperatures started out at 40 and by the end of the match it had climbed to 60 and the skies were clear and blue. But- The winds were blowing from the beginning and by the 3rd string it was switching, dying off, picking up almost too fast to adjust. Conditions were such that out of 11 High Masters shooting in F-class, none shot a High Master score for the day!
In Open, Expert James Cantrell took the overall win shooting a High Master 588-16X. Based on his last couple of matches, James will be getting that new card very soon. 1st High Master went to Chip Noel who shot a 587-22X.
In Prone, Gary Henry shot a 593-29X for the overall win. Bill Jenkins took 1st High Master with a 591-25X. In the combined Master/Master Unclassified/Sharpshooter group, David Bay took 1st with a 588-21X. David bested Joe Mistretta by 1 X for the class win.
FTR saw Jim Suber take the lead on the 1st string and hold on for the win with a 586-13X. Jade Delcambre was 1st High Master with a 584-17X. Jeffrey Peno took the Master Unclassified with a 547-3X.
