Palo Alto November Mid-Range Prone/F-Class results

PALO ALTO RIFLE AND PISTOL CLUB
NOVEMBER 2, 2013- MID-RANGE PRONE/F-CLASS MATCH

The skies were blue and the temperature was perfect for 29 shooters to make the November match. Unfortunately, the Halloween goblins had one last trick to play and mechanical issues prevented 2 shooters from finishing the match.
Winds were their usual changing conditions, but where we normally get the first few strings in in relatively calm conditions, the winds were blowing from the start.

This match also saw the return of the Mahute family who made the drive up from Florida to shoot with us. It’s been a year since they were able to be with us and we welcome them back.

The Prone side had 8 shooters and the winner was determined on X count. Gary Henry took the win with a 596-31X. Rob Westfall took 1st High Master shooting a 596-17X. In the Master/Master Unclassified/Expert group, Robert Bose came out of Expert to take the win with a High Master 588-14X. Good shooting!

The F-Open group fielded 10 shooters with Sam Entrican coming all the way from Marksman to take the overall win with an impressive 597-24X. Awesome shooting, Sam. 1st High Master went to Jim Suber with a 595-33X. Ms. Andy Suber took 1st Master/Master Unclassified/Expert with a 595-31X. Congrats to both of the Subers on some really nice shooting.

The F-TR group had 11 shooters and Jade Delcambre posted a nice 592-29X to take the win. I think Jade will be another one seeing a High Master card coming soon. Mickey Brinkman was 1st High Master with a 588-20X. Anthony Acrement was 1st Master/Master Unclassified posting a 582-25X. Rick Stewart won the combined Expert/Sharpshooter group with a 570-13X.

Thanks, i tried several different loads recently and it seems to shoot really well with what i shot in the match yesterday. It held great water line vertical.......
