MID-RANGE PRONE/F-CLASS MATCH

I was afraid we were going to run out of SR-1’s as we had 42 shooters make it out on a warm late summer day. As usual the winds were calm, at first, but then they came alive.
We had a couple of folks shoot their first cleans today and the FTR single string range record was tied.
We had some first-timer shooters and some folks we haven’t seen for a while. We had 6-200’s shot today, also.
All in all, a good day of shooting.
The Prone side had 11 shooters. Rob Westfall took the overall win with a 593-25X. David Bay, who shot his first clean today, took 1st Master/Master Unclassified/Expert/Marksman with a 587-17X. Dwayne Vidrine, shooting a service rifle, took 2nd with a 585-17X. That was also a personal best for Dwayne. Congrats to David and Dwayne on the personal accomplishments today.
The F-Open side had 11 shooters. Gerald Boudreaux only dropped 3 points to take the win with a 597-40X. Marc Olivier was 1st High Master with a 595-29X.
In the Master/Master Unclassified/ Expert group, Nick Marion took 1st place with an impressive 596-36X.
The FTR folks fielded 20 shooters. It was close but Jade Delcambre beat out Craig Martin on X count to take the win with a 595-32X. Craig was 1st High Master with a 595-24X. C.J. Britt took 2nd High Master with a 593-30X. C.J. also tied the single string record at 200-17X. Congrats C.J.
Ray Nallie took 1st in the Master/Master Unclassified group with a 585-23X. Doug Gary was 2nd with a 573-16X. Craig Decoteau rounded out the field taking 1st in Expert/Marksman with a 576-20X.
