Palm Type Ballistics Program

All,
A buddy of mine recently alluded to a ballistics program that you could download to a Palm that takes into account: bullet weight, bc, velocity, bullet drop, altitude, temperature, range, you name it. Does anyone out there have any experience with something like this? I was going to go through all of the hassle of shooting my pet load starting at 100 yards and work my way back to 1,000. But that would only be good for that altitude, temp, etc., where this program would calculate all of that and spit out how many clicks to come up to hit something at say 783 yards.

Might be a Pejsa programme ?... I use it as a spreadsheet on a Palm Treo. It think it has all in your list but no metres or mils...

I saw a guy at the range the other day with something similar on an I-Phone. He was hitting about anything he wanted with a brand new Savage 17HMR out to 300yds in a steady 10mph wind, so it must work decently.

I will ask him what he uses as I see him there all the time, and he is always using whatever app that is on his phone. He almost always makes accurate first shot hits on very small targets with his fleet of 17 cal rimfires, so he's doing something right.

If you have an Android based phone, there is a app called BallCalc which is pretty nice.

I have a Palm Treo and bought the Nightforce Exbal program for it (Palm OS). Definitely worth the money!
