density altitude program

i am looking for a ballistic program that runs on a palm that uses density altitude rather than all the individual variables ,press, temp, humid, altitude...), does such a creature exist? hell i would even settle for one that runs on my desk top. i hate inputing a bunch of numbers when i could be shooting. thanks guys

Hi Bingo,
I do not know of any ballistic programs that use Density Altitude specifically, but you might try imputing density altitude in the altitude input box. I have been doing this for the past couple of years and it seems to be very accurate. If you are using a temperature sensitive powder, you might also want to input the actual temperature. Give it a try and see how close it gets you. With my 6BR it keeps me withing one scope click,1/8' click') at 500 yards.

so then jack what type of values are you using for everything else? such as the humidity

Hi Bingo,
I use the standard atmosphere values, 78% humidity etc.
Last year I shot matches in density altitude as low as 500 feet, to as high as 4500 feet at the same range.
