Those violators were banned from club. What hurts the gun clubs is errant rounds leaving the club property. Since the single shot rule (2002) we have had zero visits by the State Police. Years previous we had some property owners downrange claim errant shots came from the club despite the fact the range is at the base of a tall ridge.potatoe said:This is so biased that its insulting. So you had a few bad apples that happened to be semi auto shooters, what happens when you have an incident with a muzzleloader? do then ban all guns? This seems very short sighted for your club to do this. My range has over 2k members and virtually no incidents ever, with semi, single shot or muzzle loaders because the vast majority enforce the rules. Actions like this really hurt the gun community, instead of punishing the violators you attack the group. Seems like a common thing to do these days.
We are a private club and therefore have the freedom to be biased.
