P-dogs in ernst & coyotes to top it off.

Starting to work some areas full of p-dogs this last weekend.
About 1/2 day from my shooting table, then walking from gully to gully and laying prone on the crests then shooting up/down the valleys. Suppressed so they were not running for cover after 3 shots. Ran a tad over 200 rounds into them along with the 9-19 mph breeze, over all in the 70s & sunny.
WINK WINK...though that was good.

Quiet a few of these in a bunch.

Top of valley is right at 350 yards, nothing like running close ones, then dialing in for long ones and then having more pop out in front of you. Nikon tracks perfectly, dial up/down all the time here.

Had another rancher call me while out here to say his neighbor said coyotes had killed 2 of his new calves and wanted me to come & remove them. Said they were all over his calving areas. He was sure they were coming from another ranch next to his that no one is allowed to hunt on, so thus the problem with them.
Long day p-doggin and then off to coyotes...no problem
Both these were big ol fat males & heavy.
