P-14 P-17 Wing removal/Remodeling

It gets complicated. I have a mill and a lathe only. Essentially this is what I did, start with a 1" hex shaft 12" long. Center drill one end for live center, drill holes in it to mount receiver. This will give you 1.580" offset. Next I milled a plate for a thickness to get me to 2"offset(radius), placed between the receiver(magazine area) and the hex shaft, use the receiver bolts to fasten receiver to hex shaft and mount in lathe, used 180 RPM and shallow cuts, slow feed, takes time.
