I have used them for years. Always somebody available for help, customer problems, and technical advise. Last week they shipped 2 large rubber half circle things and also an item that I ordered incorrectly. I emailed them and had an answer in 15 minutes. They sent the correct items and I received them already. The UPS store here couldn't figure out the Mc Master-Carr return UPS numbers and wouldn't handle it. I sent MC another email and they said don't worry as they would credit me for the wrong item that I ordered and said keep or destroy the incorrect items.

McMC is awesome....not cheap, but awesome. I spend a LOT of money with them and still dont rank high enough to get a printed catalog. Luckily I have fellow machinist friends that do and I get their hand me downs. they are great for "finding" stuff.

Good descriptions on their site and I get next day delivery at no extra fee.
Oddball screws, tubing, grommets, even tungsten bar for stock weights.

I worked for a computer company and McMaster has been a customer for 25 years! I live 45 minutes south of the Aurora facility. Place is huge and guys I worked with are great.

I would say we are ordering from them almost daily. We get a lot of our stuff next day most of the time which is great. Yes they might be a little more but there service is great like mentioned above and they have a lot to offer.

Just received my new book about a month ago, it stays out cause it’s usually the one I am reaching for.

Aircraft components can be tricky to source ,if one doesn't Know who and where they're manufactured .

They have EVERYTHING and where I live in SC everything usually gets delivered in two days. Prices can be a little high depending on what you are ordering but in a pinch they are absolutely my go to source!!!!!!

Their book can be invaluable for finding oddball fittings fasteners and once in a lifetime doohickeys! I don’t buy from them often or in big volumes but when i do they are a lifesaver

That is one heck of a catalog!
I placed a small order from them and UPS delivered it to the wrong address. When it did not arrive, I contacted them regarding it. I needed the parts so I was able to purchase them locally. They just refunded my funds. Great place.

I sometimes blows my mind how fast I have gotten orders from them. I've said I can go to the house to order something I realize I need and the order will be to the shop by the time I can walk back out there. LOL

I've used M-C for a long time. But now that my business is wound down, for personal items I try Grainger first for one particular reason: they have a distribution warehouse a couple of miles from me, with a "Will Call" walk-in, which means I never pay shipping. So I can order a $3 trinket without paying a minimum $10 (or whatever) S&H. (Yeah, they add local sales tax, but pretty much every online store now has to add that anyway no matter what state you live in.)

We also have a Summit Racing warehouse/store here, with the same benefit.
