Newbie to precision shooting/reloading. My question is - Outside neck turning- Pros/cons. Here is what I have. 6mmBR with standard chamber. Lapau brass. Can you tell me if I need to turn them and go through the time of checking each one? Do the Lapua generally have pretty even neck thickness. I have went through and weighed each case but I do not have a gauge to measure neck thickness so this is one of the reasons I am asking, because I would need to purchase a unit to do so. If not why, if so why. I plan on shooting prairie dogs and paper targets in a local rifle league.
