Barney Fudge was a classmate and long time friend. For you Aggies Barney was President of the Senate at A&M in the 1966-1967 school year. He was kidding when he said he lowered himself to get his Law degree at OU. He was and is one of the nicest men I have ever been around. He treated everybody as if they were the most important person around. Some of you may have seen either his firetruck or weapons carrier at the Aggie tailgate parties. Barney retired as a State District Judge about 3 years ago.
