First, prayers and thoughts for you and your Father. It's nice to see clear communication from a business explaining the circumstance. That defuses things quickly. As mentioned before this forum is full of some the best people you could find.

My Father lives with me now and we care for him. It's the least I can do to return his love and care for me. I wish you the best and admire your priorities.

We owe them whatever it takes, in their golden years. Fortunately, Dad lives 1/4 mile up the road from me. That helps.

Myself trying to care for 4 teens who I homeschool while also caring for mom who is in nursing care 400 miles from me. I see her every 20 days if she is well, more if she is ill.
I understand the stress. Prayers for peace and God's strength in the Christmas and days to come.

Mike I spent a year or better watching my Dad suffer and my Mom needs a lot of help but it is so worth it because they gave for us. My mom is like June Cleaver,the perfect mom and the perfect wife to my Dad. They had a really good marriage and since he passed it has been so hard on my mom but I will always be there as she needs me and more.Our moms can never be replaced and we only have each other for what seems like a blink of the eye.
