Ordered a pack of Skull Screws, said 8-15 days. Reality was two months and when I opened the package, there it was, one skull screw ear piece. One, not a pair, when there were supposed to be 10 pairs.

Just think, someone in shipping had to open a pack of these earpieces, remove one, repackage it and then box it up and sent it on it's way, without a "hey wait a minute" moment.

Yes they refunded my money and let me keep the ear piece.

Been buying from them for 20 years. Never a problem til my last order. l chose a set of dies they said was
''ln Stock''. Took almost 3 months to get them. How can a set of dies be ''In stock AND backordered'' at the same time?

I made there Customer of the year one time. Never had any trouble with them. Free Delivery ,Yes Slow .
I ordered a Scope on the Military Discount Program over the Phone. The lovely lady made a small mistake.
It worked out way to my benefit . They honored the price and delivered.
I still use them when possible.

I just ordered a stock from them.

It shipped within 2 days of the order.

I didn’t care for it so I filled out the RMA and sent it back. Haven’t been refunded yet but it’s still on the way there.

I’ve had good luck with them but can understand frustration.

Waited a few months for a level from them back in 2016. When i ordered it it was said to be in stock.
Just like many here, they did however charge my card right away.
I believe they do this very often , i assume it lets them have more money to operate on , your money !!!

Ordered some bullets back in December they said were in stock. Just shipped a few days ago. Same thing happened to a buddy last spring.

My first post on this thread was on 2/12 post #17. I cancelled the order that same day in an email. Never got a response from Optics Planet on the cancellation, only some additional advertising. This morning (2/21) I got an email telling me my order has shipped. I can only wonder what, if anything will actually arrive. This most certainly will be the first and only time I will do any business with them.

Jacket arrived yesterday (2/26). It was as originally ordered and about 8 weeks after the order was placed. I will keep it as it meets my needs and trying to get a refund would probably be a futile venture. They will not be getting any further business from me.

They fell off their rocker a few years back. Just be glad you actually got your scope in a reasonable time frame and we’re able to return it. Said this many times, NEVER order from Optics Planet.... even if an item says in stock and will ship within a certain time frame.

After waiting almost a year for a threaded barrel adapter for a Walther P 22 pistol they canceled my order saying they did not know when it would be available I went on eBay it will be at my house in a week

Optics Planet is horrible. Ordered an in stock barrel on December 23rd, After a month I started to email them weekly, Always got the same canned message. Shippers are slow, we are very bust and it will take 10-14 days to ship your order. On February 17th I received an email from Optics Planet that your item is being prepared for shipping. After several emails to them and the last ones being very firm, I actually got a reply from a person saying she would expedite the order. We are on day 6 with not a peep from them. This was the first and last time to use this so called business.

I pay attention to all the rants. Optics Planet is one of my order and forget it vendors for stuff that I don’t really care if it takes 2 weeks or two months. Stuff like spare parts. At least they are letting me back order stuff that I don’t mind waiting for. I don’t like it when vendors disable the back order feature. Not sure why they do that but I’m sure they have their reasons.

The firearm industry is gonna be under attack like never before until we get more republicans back in congress, and I’m pulling for all the vendors to hang in there, even the ones that have been struggling recently in the customer service and order fulfillment areas.
