Opinions please. 308 question

Weird. Sorry to hear your guys have been having problems like that. I've been apparently lucky with my .308 and the B175OTM... it held together to out just past 1k; haven't had occasion to shoot it any further.

Just out of curiosity what twist is your barrel?

1-10". B175OTM @ 2650fps out of a 20", so no where near the PRS 'tactical' speed limit.

Really. That is interesting. I'm beatin your speed by 170 fps and I fought like hell to hit 10" steel at 1k and groups were horrible but 850yds my groups were incredible over a bunch of testing. Maybe I'm doin something wrong. Hell if I know!

Yeah there was something wrong with that load and not the bullet itself. That speed should be fine to past 1000.

I thought so to. I didn't try goin any faster but slowin it down didn't help so I don't have no idea. I gave it a hell of a try and I love that bullet till bout the 850 markbut after that your guess is as good as mine. I even had my two buddies that I shoot with shoot it with the same results. I had five hundred of em that I burned through and now that they are gone it's time to try other slugs.
