Opinion on Remington 40x bore cleaner, Old stuff but???

I have every cleaning product known to man in my kit. Tried them all. Some are better then others. Tried some of the abrasives like Flit, Simochrome,Witches Brew, Iosoo, tc. They work, but maybe not such a great idea on long range precision barrels some say. There is an older product that has been around for ever. 40x from Remington. I have a container of it that went bad because I never tried it
Some of the other products mention I believe have persistent abrasive compounds. I heard that the 40X uses borax as as a cleaner and it is non persistent. i just picked up a container.
So what is the opinion out there on Remington 40X?

It works, but to get to bare metal more strokes are needed than JB, Iosso, or Thoroclean.
