If the Bergers are not present anywhere, but there are plenty of Barnes bullets, kinda explains itself, doesn't it.
I was getting ready for a CO elk hunt with my 6.5x06s, two, and Decided to try the Barnes 140s and the 140 Bergers. After shooting the sight in, I went to the Shot show, straight to the Barnes display and chewed their butt. Copper plated the whole inside of my barrel, end to end. Then I went to the Berger display and complemented them on their bullet’s accuracy and performance at 550 yards. I was wearing a press pass, so yes, they both listened.
Barnes folks said maybe I needed to use a 130 in my 1-8 twist, with their non lead bullets. Note, non lead is longer.
When you see plenty of anything in stock today, you best ask why. As you are doing.
