open up a Type S die

Hey guys I would like say thanks for the info. I was planning to do the same thing but will contact JLC Precision very soon.
 
It took me about five times as long to read this thread as it would have taken to do the work. It's a very easy job in a lathe and a carbide chucking reamer...or even a carbide tipped drill bit. It's a clearance hole so is not critical. In fact, I use a reamer that is about .005" over and have done bunches of them without a single problem. Oops! It took longer to type this than to do it, also.---Mike
