My wife was fed up with these guys when we lived in California. They would come by at least once a month and sometime more. They were persistent and if you made the mistake and spoke with them, they would not leave.
So she came up with a plan. The next time they came by, she acted happy to see them and that she was a Wicken and wanted to talk to them. They left and we never saw them again.
I have a habit of opening the door with a beer in my hand and once they start to talk I tell them that I’m a practicing Catholic. They immediately leave. Works every time!
