I'm retired and have nothing better to do than work on my guns,handload,and shoot.

Wife(of goin on 40 years) is a child development guru for the state and has been following directives and staying home. She's on conference calls and computer meetings ALL day. Really cutting into "my" space.

The other day I fitted a new oversized firing pin stop(went with the "original" JMB much more small radius bttm,slows slide on recoil) and "needed" to run some ammo through it to see how much,mo better it was.

So,I politely asked the wife when she wasn't going to be on a blasted conference call because I was gonna shoot(vented indoor range) and didn't want her ASSociates wondering WTF? She gives the time and I go shoot the 45 commander..... which the FPS did make a very noticeable,just not a "great" difference in how "flat" the gun stays. In general if you have the tools and patience,an oversized EGW stop ain't that expensive....

Anyway,I come back upstairs and she's on the ****ing phone. Waiting for her to get off,a little dismayed I asked her if the gunfire report was loud? Thinking,well chit.... she said this time would be good,and she broke the deal. But her reaction,ended up being like the GotRDid post of the trucks.....

She looks,smiles..... pauses,and says.

"I could barely hear it".

Well dang.... open the floodgates. Now just gotta get "those folks" used to full power '06 cast bullet loads,bwahaha.

I'm only getting one call from the NRA per day, maybe two with the disguised local call. Zero 1-800 unavailable type calls. Hopefully my phone co has started to block robo calls as they have been required to do. Only two unwanted caiis a day and none on weekends. I hope it goes to zero.

THANK GOD for social distancing call centers are now facing employee shortages complete sick outs !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well at least until they get them up in running working from home BS
