I can't speak to the TV coverage, but I heard a libtard on NPR talking about what "great athletes" it takes to successfully participate. So no, I don't think its just you.its seems there is more TV coverage of the biathlon events than i remember in recent past. is it just me?
thats interesting, i would have thought skiing would have beat it out. Up in ND and MD they are crazed for curling. ThanksA Google search under "Olympics " had a survey of which sports am I intrested in. I selected biathlon and the results has the survey at biathlon tied at 4th place. Figure skating 1st. Hockey, snowboarding next. That's pretty good, it beat the rest of skating, sking, and the restof them. Curling, how did it beat curling? I kid. Here in salt lake city after the Olympics the curling thing really caught on and is a thing now.

Because I don’t ever expect NPR to ever assign superlatives to anything associated with firearms.I am curious as to why you put quotations around "great athletes".
I was pretty impressed with those actions too and some cuties shooting them. While nosing around on anschutz's website this morning I found an interesting link to Altius Arms in Montana. They are biathlon experts and they sell those tricked out fortner action biathlon rifles. They also make some snazzy stocks for them too. Seems like a lot of gun for the money. I had dillusions of grandeur of me running 100 yards then shooting at the broad side of a barn.I love watching them run those fortner actions. Pure skill in amongst that heavy breathing

What’s the point of your question?
are they anschutz. i know they make them and i wonder if any other company does?I was pretty impressed with those actions too and some cuties shooting them. the coverage ive been watching is on NBCI was curious as to why you quoted "great athletes" without any apparent context.
Biathlon does seem to get approval from the not-so-usual suspects. Even our local cage liner once did an article on a local competitor.
Perhaps because it's has a European history, like rail transportation, high density housing, and socialism, it is granted acceptance from the likes of NPR.
im sure youll look great in them.I think that biathlon is the shizzle. I'm going to get a pair of those thingies that they practice in in the summer. Looks like terrific, low impact, exercise.
“Without apparent context?!?!?!” (See what I did there?I was curious as to why you quoted "great athletes" without any apparent context.
Agreed. It’s easier to aspire to Eurocentricity than to understand one’s own countrymen.Perhaps because it's has a European history, like rail transportation, high density housing, and socialism, it is granted acceptance from the likes of NPR.
