Not sure if this belongs in reloading, but seems like the best fit.
I have been offered some, new in the box, Lapua factory ammo in 6mmBR Norma. I have bought Lapua Factory ammo for each of my long range guns so I could shot, get brass and then load a few times and shoot with Wilson dies and an Arbor press in order to get fired cases to Whidden for custom dies.
My question is, these are in 20 round boxes that are Red. All the ones that I have purchased, with the exception of .308, are currently only available in 50 round boxes. They are also 90 grain Scenars and not Scenar-Ls. Does anyone have any idea how old these would be and:
Would they possibly be made form older Gold Box type Brass?
If they were older Gold Box brass, should I stay away from mixing them with the Blue box brass I have?
Thanks
