Older lapua brass value?

Does any of the older cardboard box lapua brass have any extra value? I know some guys have their guns tight chambered to some of this brass. I think I have 2 old boxes of 6.5x284 brass somewhere in storage

I have a friend that is down sizing, has I think 6-8 boxes of Lapua 223 Gold box. Contact me if you are interested.

I don't know if it's better than today's Lapua 223 Rem, but it's certainly a tad lighter and has around half a grain additional water capacity which is most useful.

Old lapua 223 is like the old IMI brass from around 1990 or so that I think was made by Lapua for Israel while Lapua was building their plant in Israel.

It's worth at least what he paid for it. Somewhere just south of $100. That's what I'd put it out there for.

Added: It ain't collectable if that is what you were asking. So, nothing 'extra' for it.

Even back when gold box was current it cost more than 100 a box. 6.5-284 brass was more than 308 based cases by a good little bit.

I know the old Gold box brass is a lot tougher to hydro form than the blue box stuff. DJ from DJ'S brass service will tell you the same thing , plus the brass formula is a tad different.
