I have all 3 options, i have the frankford dry vibratory tumbler, the harbor freight ultrasonic and the large frankford rotary tumbler. my go to is the rotary with stainless pins and soapy water. if i just need to knock the case lube off i will toss them in the frankford for a bit. the ultrasonic has such a limit capacity that i do not use it for cleaning brass. it does well for cleaning parts and jewelery etc though. in the rotary tumbler i can drop 1k 9mm cases and let it run 3 hours and its like brand new brass. i have a framed screen that i dumb them on and lay a box fan over them and by the time my next batch of brass is done the cases are dry.
